A new four story, multifamily building rises from the ashes of previous existing two story home. The existing home was tragically deemed structurally unstable due to rapid adjacent development and forced into demolition. Rather than walking away from the property, which had been owned by one family for the past 70 years, family members rallied and supported their grandmother to create a new family asset in the neighborhood they loved. Located directly across from Clark Park, Pace was tasked by the family with creating an eye-catching facade that made a statement on it’s block. Soft curves are used to disrupt the otherwise newly developed, uniform streetscape. Large windows and spacious balconies bridge the interior to the mature landscaping of Clark Park, creating a bright and comforting atmosphere. Chiseled brick masonry sweeps across the façade, framing the bulk of the building’s light brick frontage, creating a new presence on the block for many years to come.
